Ranger Nick will be at the Casino Library to launch his first camp oven
book "You should be walking with me when I am walking by myself", which
he dedicated to his parents.
Get your signed copy between 1.00pm and 2.30pm at the Library in Casino.
Containing mouthwatering camp oven recipes and humorous bush tales, the
book is entertaining and informative. A must have companion for any
camp oven cook or outdoor enthusiast. Written in Ranger Nick's own
unique style, you will be in for a treat reading this recipe book with a
twist.
Ranger Nick will make a batch of his famous No Fail
Ginger Beer Scones with jam and cream to hand out samples, and will be
available for an author talk and book signing. As part of his talk he
will reveal how he became a bush cook and what inspired him to write a
book, the art of caring, curing and storing of camp ovens, heat source
and heat control, poems, life tales and short ballads.
